About me
Welcome to my Photoshop tutorial website! I’m not a professional, so don’t expect breathtaking things from me. I will only try to develop new techniques and new combinations of filters for Adobe Photoshop. Hopefully my tutorials are easy to follow and harder to copy, cause the main purpose is to help you develop your own techniques.
My name is Mihai Udrea and I work asĀ a travel agent in Romania. Nothing related to Photoshop so far, except the passion for this amazing program. I’ve been around Photoshop since its 5th version and I’m always surprized by new discoveries every time I try to create something. How do I get to learn Photoshop? It’s simple… watching tutorials and lessons from the best in business. Let me take a moment and mention the best sources for learning:
- Pixel Perfect with Bert Monroy - it’s just amazing and one of the few that not only teach you how to create a certain effect, but gets you even deeper to understand how Photoshop is working and open in front of you an window of opportunities to create your own techniques.
- Photoshop User TV with Dave Cross, Matt Koslowski and Scott Kelby - a crazy TV show with 3 of the best guys in Photoshop world. Lots of fun to watch them, lots of things and tricks to learn, lots of prizes to win each week. In case these names mean nothing to you, they are the NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals, editors of Photoshop User Magazine, etc.). Get tones of advantages by joining NAPP, infortunately only if you live in the States.
- Planet Photoshop with Corey Barker - this guy will let you speachless each time. Honest! Can’t say more than that… you just have to watch him do his magic.
What’s the purpose of this website?
Not to compete those mentioned above, that’s for sure :)) I will only try to present some old effects, used by many, but with new techniques. If you look around, you will notice that most of the tutorials websites just copy the same techniques from each other, bringing nothing new. That’s what I try to accomplish here… to show you some new techniques, new combinations of effects and new ideas. Hope you enjoy your time here and learn something new… if not, you can always visit the above links.
